
Nagpur School, College Reopening: Schools and Colleges are all set to reopen in Nagpur from today onwards, as local authorities have given their permission for the same. As per the latest reports, Nagpur District Administration and Nagpur Municipal Corporation have given their approval for reopening of Educational Institutions to limit the educational loss being incurred by students because of lack of classroom learning.
Decision Confirmed by District Collector, Municipal Commissioner
The decision has been announced by Nagpur district collector R Vimla and municipal commissioner Radhakrishnan B, after taking stock of the coronavirus situation. As far as school students are concerned, offline or physical lectures will resume for students of all classes i.e., from 1st to 12th Class students from today onwards. Furthermore, as far as college reopening of concerned, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University administration also issued a notice asking its affiliated colleges to start offline classes from Tuesday onwards.
School, College Reopening as per COVID-19 Protocols
With COVID-19 situation, especially in the urban areas still quite precarious, schools and colleges have been directed to follow COVID-19 guidelines and protocols for resuming offline classes. To ensure safe return of the students back to the classrooms, schools and college administrators have been asked to ensure all COVID-19 precautionary measures and guidelines are followed on campus. This includes social distancing norms, wearing of face masks and spaced seating arrangements and staggered class timings. Furthermore, campuses also have to be sanitized regularly to limit chances of spread of infection among students and teachers.
