NEET PG SC Hearing: As per the latest updates, the Supreme Court has not listed the NEET PG 2024 hearing today, October 4. The hearing has been posted tentatively after Dussehra as the chief justice of India DY Chandrachud, who was supposed to preside over the NEET PG 2024 SC case, is not available today, October 4.

The Supreme Court of India will resume the NEET PG hearing today, October 4, 2024. Petitions filed to review the transparency of the NEET PG Exams were filed by aspirants against the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences. Petitions have been filed demanding the release of the provisional answer key, raw marks and the normalisation of schools used to prepare the NEET PG Results.
The SC bench headed by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud will be hearing the petition today which was earlier scheduled for September 27, 2024. As per the events of the previous hearing the same was postponed as no one appeared on behalf of the Union of India.
In the previous hearings held, the CJI questioned the decision of the NBEMS to make changes in the NEET PG exam pattern at the last minute, just three days before the exams. The SC asked for a response from the NBE on the same within a week after which a short response was filed along with an affidavit on September 26.
A total of 19 NEET PG aspirants submitted a petition to the Supreme Court against the NBEMS on the conduct if the NEET PG Exams. The petition has sought answers to the lack of transparency in the NEET PG exams, the release of the NEET PG Answer Key and details of the normalisation process followed for the marking. The petition has also asked for the raw scores of students based on which the normalisation and final results were announced.
NEET PG Counselling 2024
The NEET PG 2024 exams were held on August 11, 2024. The results were announced on August 23, 2024. The schedule for NEET PG counselling is yet to be issued by the Medical Counselling Committee. MCC has however commenced the NEET PG counselling registration process for round 1. Candidates who have cleared their NEET PG Exams can register for the online counselling process through the link on the official website.
