NEET SS 2024: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) recently introduced three time-bound parts to the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Super specialty (NEET-SS) 2024.
In order to improve exam security, the board implemented the boundation in all multiple-choice questions (MCQ)-based exams administered on a computer-based platform last year.
NEET SS 2024 Exam Structure
According to the recent NBEMS announcement, the NEET SS 2024 question paper will be divided into three time-bound sections: section A, section B, and section C. Each segment will include 50 questions and a time limit of 50 minutes.
Section | Number of Questions | Time Limit |
Section A | 50 | 50 minutes |
Section B | 50 | 50 minutes |
Section C | 50 | 50 minutes |
Candidates will not be permitted to move to the next segment until the preceding portion has been completed within the time provided. Once a section's time limit has been reached, applicants will be unable to examine the questions or modify their responses. However, candidates can move on to the next section of the exam by completing all the questions of the prior section.
NEET SS 2024 Exam Demo Link
NBEMS has announced that a demo test link will be made available for candidates. Aspirants will be able to access this test on the official website, nbe.edu.in, under the NEET SS 2024 application link page starting from March 20.
NEET SS 2024 Exam Pattern Changed
Previously, the medical board amended the NEET SS exam format 2024 implementing two changes in the exam format. As a result, there will be different question paper groups for admissions to DM/DrNB Medical Oncology and Critical Care Medicine. The questions in these groups' articles will only concern medical oncology and critical care medicine, respectively.
Furthermore, the Postgraduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC) has decided to enable traumatology and surgical postgraduates to take the exam. NEET SS 2024 will be held on March 29 and 30.
