NEET UG Registration 2025: Registration for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 will open soon on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. According to media sources, NEET registration for 2025 is anticipated to open today, January 31. Students can apply for NEET UG 2025 through the official portal at neet.nta.nic.in once the link for NEET UG registration 2025 is open.

Candidates must click the NEET registration 2025 link on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, in order to apply for NEET UG 2025. 

How to Register for NEET UG 2025?

Students who want to register for NEET UG 2025 can do online registration, once the application window opens. They can follow the given instructions while registering for the same:

Step 1: Go to the official NEET UG website – neet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the NEET UG 2025 application link.

Step 3: Fill out the NEET UG 2025 application form and pay the registration fee.

Step 4: Submit the application form.

Step 5: Download and save the registration form for future reference.

NEET UG 2025 Revised Paper Format

Medical candidates were already notified by NTA of the updated National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) paper format. There won't be any Section B in the new paper format. The 2025 exam will no longer include the optional questions and extra time that were included during the COVID phase. The duration of the exam would be 180 minutes.

A total of 180 questions will be required. Of these, 90 questions will come from the biology part, while 45 questions each will come from the physics and chemistry sections.

NTA had already announced that the NEET UG 2025 would only be administered in one day and one shift using pen and paper.

APAAR ID Not Mandatory - NEET UG 2025

Registration for NEET UG 2025 does not require an APAAR ID. NTA though earlier recommended candidates to update their Aadhar credentials and incorporate their APAAR ID has recently clarified that APAAR ID is not necessary for NEET UG 2025 application process.

“It has been made clear that APAAR ID is not required in order to register for NEET UG 2025. Candidates may still register for the test through other channels; specifics will be provided in the information bulletin shortly," the NTA statement stated.
