The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board has released the Jharkhand Polytechnic 2020 provisional merit list for special counselling round. The special counselling round is conducted for the state level Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examinations (PECE) which will be released on the official website.
The JCECE has cancelled the qualifying exams for the admissions to the technical colleges due to the COVID-19 situation. The PECE 2020 results have been announced based on the Class 10 exam results of Jharkhand state board. The qualifying candidates of PECE 2021 will be eligible for the online counselling round.
The PECE is being conducted for the admissions to the state technical colleges and universities offering engineering and non-engineering diploma programmes.
The Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examinations were scheduled to be conducted in September 2020 but were cancelled due to the increasing COVID-19 cases in the country. The PECE counselling is conducted in the online mode and the students will be able to appear for the online counselling as per the ranks secured in the examinations.
Steps to complete the PECE 2020 Counselling Applications
Step 1: Visit the official website of JCECEB
Step 2: Click on the PECE Counselling counselling tab
Step 3: Login using the PECE Login details including the roll number and password
Step 4: Select the counselling slot timing
The PECE 2020 Counselling is expected to begin by the end of January 2021 which will include the document verification and submission of the admission fee to the institutes allotted.
The candidates appearing for the counselling round are required to have class 10 mark sheets and certificates, Jharkhand polytechnic 2020 admit card, Jharkhand Polytechnic 2020 rank card, domicile certificate, category certificate along with passport size photographs.
