Telangana Schools, Colleges Reopening Update: As per the latest update, the Telangana State Government has decided NOT to reopen schools, colleges and other educational institutions in the state for now. Instead, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao directed schools and colleges to resume holding online classes for students from 1st July 2021 onwards. On Monday, CM held a press meet in which he said that online classes would begin for students of ‘KG to PG’ from next month onwards. As of now, the state government has not notified any dates for allowing reopening of schools and colleges in the state.
News Confirmed by Education Minister
The news about schools and colleges remaining closed for now and resumption of online classes from 1st July 2021 has been confirmed by the State Education Minister as well. During a media interaction, State Education minister P. Sabita Indra Reddy also informed that online classes would resume for the time being in view of he pandemic. HE also added that in line with the directions of the CM, students from primary to the post-graduate level would continue learning only in online mode. Furthermore, education minister also reached out to the administrators of private schools, asking them to to collect the fees month-wise as per the earlier order.
TS Inter Result 2021 Declared
In another development, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has formally declared the Telangana Inter Result 2021 for the Class 12 students on 28th June 2021 – Monday. The State Board has declared an ‘All Pass’ Result in which All of the registered 4.7 lakh students were declared pass. The TS Intermediate Result 2021 was prepared on the basis of performance of students in the 1st Year Examination, as the Board exams couldn’t be held this year due to the pandemic. With Inter Results already declared, now the state government would start UG College admission application process via DOST online portal soon.
