
The Uttar Pradesh Board has released the schedule for the examinations which were cancelled last month in some of the districts in the state. The board cancelled the examinations to be conducted for the Class 10 and 12 students on February 20, 26 and 29, 2020.
According to media reports, these examinations will now be conducted on March 12, 2020. While in the earlier schedule, the UP Board class 10 and 12 examinations were conducted in the evening session, the rescheduled examinations will be conducted in the morning session from 8 AM onwards
As per reports, the examinations were cancelled for the students appearing for the examinations in Mau, Ghazipur, Ballia, Prayagraj and Aligarh examination centres. The subjects for which the examinations were cancelled for the class 12 students include Physics to be conducted on February 20, 2020 and English to be conducted on February 26, 2020. The examinations cancelled for the Class 10 students was Science which was to be held on February 29, 2020.
As per media reports, in an order issued by Board secretary Nina Srivastava, 67 exam centres from the centre numbers 06869 to 06935 will be re-examined on March 12, 2020 from 8 AM to 11: 15 AM at the new centre in the Government Inter College.
Reports also suggest that the Class 12 Physics examination to be conducted at 12 Noon on February 20, 2020 went viral on social media resulting in two teachers being arrested on the intervention of Mau’s DM Gyan Prakash Tripathi. Fearing collective duplication, the examinations to be conducted at two centres in Prayagraj and one in Ghazipur , Ballia and Aligarh were cancelled.
