The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has officially released the dates for the 2025 academic year's Class 12 practical exams. According to the recently published timetable, the practical tests will be administered in two stages.
Students can take their practical exams in the designated districts as per the released schedule. Read on to know more.
UP Board Practical Exam Starts on
The UP board Class 12 practical exams' first phase will start on January 23, 2025, and last until January 31, 2025. The districts of Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Devipatan, and Basti will host the examinations under their respective Mandals.
The second phase of the UPMSP Class 12 practical examinations will take place in the Mandals of Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur between February 1 and February 8, 2025.
UPMSP Pre-Board Practical Exams 2025 Dates
The UPMSP has also announced the dates for the pre-board practical tests in addition to the practical exam dates. The pre-board practical tests for Class 12 will be administered at the school level under the direction of the respective principals from January 4 to January 10, 2025. These tests are a crucial component of the assessment process and are intended to assist students in getting ready for the main practical exams.
UP Board Pre-Board Exam 2025
UPMSP has additionally released the schedule for the pre-board exams for the students of Class 10th and 12th. As per the official notification, the pre-board exams are scheduled between January 11, 2025, and January 21, 2025.
The exams will be conducted under the supervision of the respective schools.
Strict Surveillance during UP Board Exams

In order to maintain the integrity of the exams, UPMSP has issued several orders to all the principals of the schools. The board has made it mandatory for the schools to install CCTV surveillance cameras in the examination hall. Schools will save the recorded video, which must be made accessible upon request to guarantee open and impartial tests.
UP Board Practical Exams Internal Assessment
As in prior years, internal assessments will serve as the basis for Class 10 students' high school practical tests. Project work and other hands-on activities at the school level will be a part of these evaluations. Similarly, the practical tests for Yoga, Physical Education, and Moral Education in Class 12 will be given by the schools and will be based on internal assessments.
