CISCE ISC Results 2014 (Class 12th)

As per the Official website of CISCE, ISC Results 2014 (Class 12th) will be announced on 17 May 2014.

The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education has been designed to provide an examination in a course of general education, in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986, through the medium of English. Private candidates are not permitted to appear for this examination.

The Indian School Certificate Examination is an examination, through the medium of English, designed in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986, after a two-year course of studies beyond the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Year 10) examination or its equivalent examination.

CISCE is a private, non-governmental board of education in India, for class 10th. These have been designed to provide an examination in course of general education. There are various schools that come under ICSE. The subjects that are offered into these are divided into three groups. Group 1 includes compulsory subjects such as English, History, Civics and geography, and indian languages. Group II includes any two subjects from Mathematics, science, environmental science, computer science, agriculture science, technical drawing, a modern foreign language, a classical language , and Group III has any one of them i.e. computer applications, arts, performing arts, home science, cookery, fashion designing, physical education, yoga and environmental applications. ICSE even comprises of components of internal assessment. Internal assessments are carried out by schools on the basis of assignments, project work, practical’s and course work. All these aspects play a very important role in the life of students. Through all this course work, students are provided with educational skills and hence their confidence is increased..

The date sheet for ICSE examinations have been announced for both class 10th and 12th examinations. Apart from the date sheet, the time table and exam schedule for the same have been uploaded on the official website. Students can get in touch with the website for more details. Usually the examinations are conducted in the month of March-April and ICSE 10th and 12th result 2014are announced in the Mid-week of May. ICSE results are usually announced before CBSE examinations.

All these examinations are of extreme importance to the students. This is because they provide great platforms to the students and help them to build great careers. Immediately after class 10th examinations students are offered varied choices in terms of different streams. Commerce, science, and arts are three broad choices that are offered to the students. Students can even avail master’s degree in the same subjects.. Another stream is that of arts which comprises of degree courses in subjects such as political science, geography, history, English and many more.
