JEECUP cut off 2019

The cut off of JEECUP is the minimum marks that a candidate must obtain in order to qualify the entrance exam. For each of the seat allotment rounds the JEECUP 2019 cut off will be released. JEECUP 2019 Counselling

The counselling of JEECUP 2019 is expected to be held in the last week of May, 2019 by the conducting authority. Upon formal declaration of the JEECUP result 2019 only candidates will be able to know their qualifying status i.e. whether they are eligible for the JEECUP counselling process. This means the qualifying status will be mentioned on the JEECUP 2019 result. There are likely to be four rounds of JEECUP counselling that will be conducted in online mode only.

JEECUP Result 2019- Seat Allocation Process

Following the JEECUP 2019 counselling process, the seat allocation process will commence. Candidates will be offered admission on the basis of their choices, reservation category and UPJEE State Open Rank. During the counselling process, candidates will be able to choose their branches and institutes online. The same information will be updated on the official website- jeecup.nic.in. Candidates are advised to bookmark this page to receive timely information on the JEECUP seat allocation process. The document verification process will be done at the time of admission/ seat allocation process. On failing to submit original documents, the candidate will be disqualified from the admission process. Reserved category candidates will be required to submit authentic/ original certificate issued by their respective authority at the time of Seat Allocation Process as well as at the time of admission, failing to do so will exempt them from the admission process.

JEECUP Seat Reservation

As per UP Government rules candidates belonging to certain categories are admitted to seats reserved for them based on relaxed criteria. These categories are:

Vertical Reservations

  • Other Backward Classes (OBC) if they belong to Non Creamy Layer (NCL) - 27%
  •  Scheduled Castes (SC) - 21%
  • Scheduled Tribes (ST) - 2%

Horizontal Reservations

  • Persons with Disability (PwD) minimum 40% disability) – 3%
  • Freedom Fighter – 2%
  • Ward of Military personnel – 5%
  •  Girl Candidate of All Categories – 20%

Founded in 1986-87, Joint Entrance Examination Council of Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has it’s headquarter at Lucknow. UP JEECUP board is regulated under the Society Act, 1860 and is formed to conduct and execute the admission process in various colleges and universities in UP state.
