Eligibility Criteria for Technician Posts

Educational Qualification and Experience:

• Technician (Plumber) - Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI certificate in Plumbing/Drainage Cleaning Trade
• Technician (Carpenter) - Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI certificate in Carpenter/Fitter Trade
• Technician (Electrician) -  Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI certificate in Electrician trade.
• Technician (AC & Refrigeration) - Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI Certificate in the trade of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration OR National / State Trade Certificate in the aforesaid relevant trade OR 2 years full time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institution in the aforesaid relevant trade
• Technician (Computer Operation & Programming) - Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI Certificate in the trade of Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA) OR Network Technician
• Technician (Electrical for Chennai Centre) - Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI Certificate in the trade of Instrument Mechanic OR National / State Trade Certificate in the aforesaid relevant trade OR 2 years full time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institution in the aforesaid relevant trade
• Technician (Electrical for Delhi Centre) - Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI Certificate in the trade of Information Technology and Electronics System Maintenance / Instrument Mechanic / Mechanic Medical Electronics / Electronics OR National / State Trade Certificate in the aforesaid relevant trades OR 2 years full time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institution in the aforesaid relevant trades.
• Technician (Welding) - Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI Certificate in the trade of Welding
• Technician (Mechanist)- Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI Certificate in the trade of Machinist (01 Post) and Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI Certificate in the trade of Machinist (Grinder or Tool & Cutter Grinder) (01 Post)
• Technician (Fitter) - Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI Certificate in the trade of Fitter
• Technician ( Mechanical) - Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI Certificate in the trade of Fitter or Turner or Machinist or Tool & Die maker or CNC Operator or equivalent
• Technician (Physiotherapy) - Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus Diploma in Physiotherapy
• Technician (Library) - Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI Certificate in the trade of Library Science OR National / State Trade Certificate in the aforesaid relevant trade OR 2 years full time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institution in the aforesaid relevant trade.

Age Limit

• UR - 28 Years
• OBC - 38 Years
• SC/ST - 40 Years
• Widows, Divorced Women and Women Judicially separated from Husbands - 35 Years

Selection Procedure for Technician Job

The selection will be made on merit list of Trade test for subject specific. Therefore all the eligible candidates, who apply against the above posts, will have to appear for above Test, for which details will be uploaded on the official website.
