Month 1: Understanding the basics and the core concepts
Students must build a solid foundation of both theoretical and practical concepts by focusing on the key concepts.
Week-1
Unit 1 and 2: Electrostatics and Current Electricity
- Read the theory in detail from NCERT and try to understand the basic laws and principles.
- Practise the basic numerical problems.
- Don’t forget to take notes on important formulas and derivations.
Week-2
Unit-3 Magnetic Effects Of Current And Magnetism
- Focus on important concepts like electromagnetism, Biot-Savart law, and Ampere’s law.
- Solve the back questions along with the numerical ones.
Week-3
Unit 4: Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current
- Focus on Lenz’s law, Faraday’s law, and inductance.
- Practice circuit diagrams and related numerical problems.
Week-4
- Revise units 1-4.
- Work on your weak areas and practise the questions from other guidebooks as well.
Month 2: Get a deeper understanding of Optics and Modern Physics
Try to understand and apply the principles of optics while also studying the key concepts of Modern Physics.
Week-1
Unit 5: Electromagnetic Waves
- Understand the nature of EM waves and practise important questions on them.
- Try to solve important numerical problems on EM waves.
Week-2
- Unit 6: Optics
- Study the reflection, refraction, and dispersion of light.
- Solve the problems on ray diagrams and practice other numerical questions as well.
Week-3
- Optics (Continued)
- Continue with Unit 6 and make your concepts strong by practising the questions based on Optics.
Week 4
Unit 7: Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation
- Focus on important concepts like de Broglie wavelength and photoelectric effect.
- Practice derivations and numerical questions related to quantum theory.
Month 3: Continuing the practice with Modern Physics and Devices
Week-1
Unit 8: Atoms and Nuclei
- Study Rutherford’s model, Bohr’s model, and radioactivity.
- Focus on the mathematical approach to decay rates and energy levels.
Week-2
Unit 9: Electronic Devices
- Learn about diodes, semiconductors, and transistors.
- Practice questions on logic gates and their truth tables.
Week-3
- Understanding the basic concepts within the chapter.
- Solving the conceptual questions.
Week-4
- Revision of units 5-9
- Practising the back questions from NCERT.
Month 4: Practising and strengthening the weak areas
Now, that the course is covered along with the important concepts, students can start practising the sample papers.
Week-1
- Revision of Units 1–4: Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetism
- Solve the sample papers of previous years.
Week-2
- Revision of Units 5–6: Optics and EM Waves
- Practice the sample papers
Week-3
- Revision of Units 6-9: Dual Nature, Atoms, Nuclei, Electronic Devices
- Don’t forget to revise important formulas as well.
Week-4
- It’s time for the final revision of all the chapters.
- Take a full syllabus mock test and analyse your preparation with the help of it.
Month-5: Final Exam Practise
Go for intensive revision and sample paper along with final touch-ups.
Week-1
- Consider this as your revision week- 1 and start revising for all the chapters.
Week-2
- Week 2 calls for revising the important formulas and also doing the derivations.
Week-3
- Solve the last 10 papers of previous years and also look for their solutions.
Week-4
- Final Preparation of all the topics.
- Last-minute revision of key topics, formulas, and derivations.
Important Tips for the Entire 5 Months:
- Daily Study Time: Try to allocate 2-3 hours for studying the concepts of Physics.
- Regular Revision: Revise all the topics at the end of the week.
- Make important notes: Maker derivations steps along with important formulas.
- Stay calm: Stay calm when the exam time is near and carefully practise for the exam.
- Healthy routine: Try to balance your study time with eating, sleeping and other activities as well.
By following this structured plan, students will be able to cover the entire Physics syllabus in depth while leaving enough time for revision and practice easily.
