Under the Endeavor Scholarships and Fellowships Program, the Australian Government is getting ready to grant 60 more scholarships to the scholars who are willing to carry forward their research and higher studies at the country.

In the year 2014 the number of scholarships provided by the Australian government was limited to 40, but this year the number is expected to go beyond the mark of 60. The students need to compete for these scholarships which would benefit them immensely in their years of research and academic studies at the country. The scholarships would allow students to carry forward their work in the superior research infrastructure and facility, take up professional help from academicians and associate with top class academics in their respective fields.  The application process for the 2016 Endeavor Scholarship and Fellowship is expected to begin from the month of April, 2015.

Those students who would get these scholarships would be able to take up research at vocational, postgraduate and post-doctoral level courses in Australia. They are also allowed to take up professional development programs at top Australian universities and can choose from the wide range of other academic fields to carry forward their studies.

These programmes are expected to enhance the mutual understanding and mutual knowledge sharing among these two countries which has an amicable relationship with each other for the past few decades. This would help in creating and developing an international bridge among the two countries.

Australia is slowly becoming the favorite destination for the Indian students who are travelling there to accumulate their higher studies. As per the present situation the Indians are the second largest group of international students in Australia. Currently there are over 40,000 Indian students who are pursuing their education in the foreign offshore.
