AIIMS, New Delhi Recruitment 2016 for 27 Assistant Professors Posts

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi invited the candidates for the post of Assistant Professors in various departments. The candidates eligible for the post send their application in the prescribed format on or before 18 July 2016.

Under AIIMS Recruitment 2016, out of total 27 posts, 02 posts are allotted to Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, 05 posts are allotted to Assistant Professor of Biotechnology, 03 posts are allotted to Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology, 01 post is allotted to Assistant Professor of Medicine, 04 posts are allotted to Assistant Professor of Orthopedics, 03 posts are allotted to Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery, 05 posts are allotted to Assistant Professor of Surgery, 01 post is allotted to Assistant Professor of Urology, 02 posts are allotted to Assistant Professor of Rheumatology and 01 post is allotted to Assistant Professor of Immunopathology.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology – A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act). A postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Anaesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto with three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Anaesthesiology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor of Biotechnology –

For Medical Candidates - A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act). A postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Anaesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto with three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Anaesthesiology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Non-Medical Candidates - A postgraduate qualification i.e. Master’s Degree in Life Science or Immunology or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Genetics. A Doctorate Degree from a recognized University with three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of Ph.D or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology – A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act). D.M. in Medical Oncology (2 years or 3 years or 5 years or 6 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto with one year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the Degree of D.M. in Medical Oncology (2 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing 03 years or 06 years recognized Degree of D.M. in Medical Oncology or qualifications recognized equivalent thereto.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor of Medicine – A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act). A postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Medicine or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto with three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Medicine or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor of Orthopedics – A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act). A postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.S. in Orthopaedics or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto with three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.S. in Orthopaedics or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery – A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act). M.Ch. in Plastic Surgery (2 years or 3 years or 5 years or 6 years recognized course) or recognized qualification equivalent thereto with one year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the Degree of M.Ch. in Plastic Surgery (2 years or 5 years recognized course after (MBBS) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing 03 years or 6 years recognized degree of M.Ch. in Plastic Surgery.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor of Surgery – A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act). A postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.S. in Surgery or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto with three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS in Surgery or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor of Urology – A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act). M.Ch. in Urology (2 years or 3 years or 5 years or 6 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto with one year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the Degree of M.Ch. in Urology (2 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing 03 years or 06 years recognized Degree of M.Ch. in Urology.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor of Rheumatology – A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act). D.M. in Rheumatology/DM in Clinical Immunology (2 years or 3 years or 5 years or 6 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto with one year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the Degree of D.M. in Rheumatology/Clinical Immunology (2 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing 03 years or 06 years recognized Degree of D.M. in Rheumatology/ Clinical Immunology.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor of Immunopathology –

For Medical Candidates - A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act). A postgraduate qualification, i.e MD in Pathology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto with three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Pathology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Non-Medical Candidates - A postgraduate qualification i.e. Master Degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology. A doctorate Degree from a recognized University with three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree.

Eligible and interested candidates can apply online on AIIMS website and submit their application online by 18 July 2016. Also the candidate need to send the required documents after online submission of application, immediately and should reach to the “The Assistant Administrative Officer Administrative Block, 1st Floor All India Institute of Medical Sciences Ansari Nagar, New Delhi – 110029” within fifteen days after the closing date of online submission of application.
