Allahabad Bank invites applications for recruitment to Single Window Operator ‘A’ vacancies under Clerical (S.W.O. -A) Recruitment Project 2012-13.

Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for the post of Clerks are required to have passes 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 60% marks or those who possess a Degree in any discipline from recognized University are eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18 to 28 years as on 01-08-2012.
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for PWD candidates, 5 years for persons domiciled in J&K, 3 years for Ex-Serviceman candidates, 9 years for Widows
Application Procedure
Candidates need to apply On-Line through the bank's official website. No other mode of application will be accepted.
Candidates will have to click on the “Recruitment” link on the bank’s homepage and then go through the recruitment notification titled: Allahabad Bank Single Window Operators- ‘A’ Recruitment Project 2012-2013
Candidates will have to take a print out of the entire recruitment notification and the fee challan.
Candidates are required to fill in the fees payment challan in Block letters. Candidates must mention their personal e-mail id which they mentioned in the On-Line application form for IBPS CWE conducted in November 2011. Bank will send interview call letter to the specified mail id.
They then will have to go to an Allahabad bank branch with the fee payment challan and pay in cash in the designated Account No- 50114140153 in the name and style of ALLAHABAD BANK SWO- 'A' RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2012-2013

Selection Procedure
Allahabad Bank will follow a two-tier selection process
a. Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS: Candidates should have appeared at the CWE conducted by the IBPS in November-December 2011 and should have a valid Score Card issued by the IBPS. Candidates should have obtained the minimum category wise cut-off in the Total Weighted Standard Score for the State/UT applied for on securing the qualifying, category-wise marks in each objective test.
b. Interview to be conducted by the Bank: depending upon the number of vacancies only a certain number of eligible candidates in the descending order of Total Weighted Standard Score in CWE in respective category of the State/UT fulfilling the cut-offs will be called for the interview
