Allahabad UP Grameena Bank invites Online applications for 57 vacancies

    Allahabad UP Grameena Bank invited online applications for 57 posts of Officer Scale – I from those candidates who have qualified the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September 2012. Eligible candidates can apply online till 08 January 2013.

    Vacancy details

    Name of Post: Officer Scale - I

    No. of posts: 57 posts

    Age Limit (as on 01 June 2012)

    Minimum: 18 years

    Maximum: 28 years

    [Age relaxations will be extended as per the rules.]

    Educational Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with proficiency in local language of Uttar Pradesh (UP).

    [Candidates must possess valid IBPS Score Card in CWE conducted by IBPS for RRB’s in September 2012 and should have obtained minimum Weighted Score as per the details given in the notification.]

    Application Fee: Application fee of Rs.100 (for Unreserved Candidates) / Rs.20 (for SC / ST / PWD candidates) has to be paid in the form of Challan through CBS at any branch of Allahabad Grameena Bank CBS Account No. 50133197731 OR in CBS Account No. 1086200000198 of Allahabad UP Grameena Bank till 08 January 2013.

    Candidates should collect the Counter foil Copy of the fee payment challan with Branch Name, Code No, Date of deposit & Amount and retain it for future reference. Candidates will not be allowed to appear in the Interview without original CBS challan.

    Pay Scale:  Rs. 14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7- 25700

    [Medical Aid, LTC, Gratuity, etc., will be admissible as per the rules of the Bank. At present the total starting emoluments of Officer Scale-I are around Rs.26535 per month, (including DA,HRA at prevailing rate)]

    Probation Period: Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of 2 years.

    Indemnity Bond: Selected Candidates in Officer Scale-I will have to execute Indemnity Bond. The Bond will be executed in case if Officer Scale-I leaves before confirmation.

    Bond amount for SC / ST / OBC / PWD / WOMEN candidates: Rs.50000

    Bond amount for other candidates: Rs.100000

    Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview.

    Personal Interview: Depending on the number of vacancies, Bank will call eligible applicants, equivalent to three times the number of vacancies, short-listed on the basis of their Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS). The total marks for Interview will be 30.

    Important: Candidates, called for interview, will have to submit a print out of the successfully submitted online application along with fee deposit counterfoil and copies of other required documents.

    Appointment of selected candidates is subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank. Such appointment will also be subject to the Service & Conduct Rules of the Bank.

    No candidate is permitted to use calculator, telephones of any kind, pagers or any such other instruments during the selection process.

    PwDs selected will have to work in Branches / Offices which have posts identified as suitable for them.

    Call Letters for Interview: All eligible shortlisted candidates will be issued call letters at the correspondence address given in the application form, which will be sent by post/ courier.

    Candidates are required to paste their photograph on the call letter and bring it along with original fee payment receipt and requisite enclosures while attending the Interview, without which they will not be allowed to take up the Interview.

    Interview Centres: The Interview will be held at Banda (UP). Address of the venue will be advised in the call letters and will also be posted on the Bank’s website one week before the date for commencement of Interview.

    Bank reserves the right to cancel the Centre and/or change the centre/s, depending upon the administrative feasibility, etc.

    The candidates will have to appear for Interview at their own expense. However, unemployed eligible SC / ST outstation candidates attending the Interview will be reimbursed to and fro second class ordinary train/bus fare by the shortest route on production of evidence of travel.

    The Bank may at its discretion hold a second stage / conduct Supplementary process wherever necessary in respect of a centre / venue / specific post of a candidate(s).

    Candidates willing to serve anywhere in the operational area of the bank should only apply.

    How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates can apply online through Bank’s Website www.allahabadgrameenabank.com  till 08 January 2013. On successful submission of online application, candidates should take its printout and retain it for future reference.

    Candidates should have a valid E-Mail ID (as specified in the online Application form while applying for RRB’s – Common Written Exam CWE is conducted in September 2012) as Bank may send call letters for Interview etc. to the registered e-mail ID.
