Andhra Bank Offers Employment Opportunity to below Matriculates as Part Time Sweepers

Andhra Bank has made a generous effort by offering employment opportunities to candidates with below matriculation qualification. With near about 200 vacancies announced in the post of Part Time Sweepers, the Bank has opened up the first of its kind recruitment option for Class 8 pass.

This is one of the most unusual recruitment processes, as official applications have been invited from candidates with minimum educational qualification of class 8 pass. Until now recruitments as such have not been conducted by any of the nationalized banks of the country.

With such recruitment process, Andhra Bank has not only helped to ease unemployment but has also given chance to those candidates who are in dire need of a government job. Usually candidates can’t get through such posts due to absence of a proper recruitment channel. But with this formal procedure, it can be assumed that a huge response will be witnessed.

Candidates will be appointed on 1/3 scale wages (1/3rd of Pay plus other allowances as applicable to Sub-Staff cadre ie.,Rs.3187/- plus other allowances as per B.P. Settlement)

Who can apply for Andhra Bank recruitment?

Candidates who have passed class 8^th can apply for the post of Part Time Sweeper. In addition to this, candidate should have studied local language as one of the subjects in 8th standard. However there is an important thing to note, candidates must not have passed Class 12^th or its equivalent.

Further, candidate must also be the domicile of that District for which vacancies have been notified / published. Candidate must also be in the age group of 18-25 years.

How to Apply for Andhra Bank recruitment?

Interested and eligible candidates are suggested to go through the official notification properly before applying for the post. Candidates may submit their applications directly to the concerned Zonal Office in the prescribed format with all attested copies of certificates in support of age, qualification along with Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate from the Institution last studied, caste, place of domicile , Disability etc,.
