APPSC Group 1 Question Paper 2024: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) conducted the Group 1 prelims examination on 17 March. The examination was conducted in two shifts: first shift from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for General Studies I, and the second shift will be conducted from 02:00 pm to 04:00 pm for General Studies I. In this article, we will share the question paper for the candidates.

According to the official notice, " Against 1,48,881 candidates registered for the examination, 1,26,068 have downloaded the Hall Tickets and 91,463 have appeared for the examination (72.55%). The examination was held at 301 venues in 18 Districts of Andhra Pradesh."

APPSC Group 1 Exam Pattern 2024

This is the first stage and consists of two objective-type papers. Both papers have 120 questions each, carrying one mark per question. The candidates are given 2 hours to complete each paper. There's a negative marking of ⅓rd for incorrect answers in the Prelims stage. The questions will be covered as follows:

Paper-I: General Studies (120 Marks): Covers topics like History, Culture, Polity, Economy, Geography of India and Andhra Pradesh.

Paper-II: General Aptitude (120 Marks): Assesses your reasoning, analytical abilities, and knowledge of Science & Technology, Current Affairs.
