Q: I reside in Arunachal Pradesh and want to apply for ASRB NET Exam 2012. Please tell me where should I submit the form and what is the last date for sending application?
A: Candidates need to send their duly filled application form to Secretary, Agriculture Scientists Recruitment Board, Krishi Anusandhan Bhawan-, Pusa New Delhi-110012 by 20 November 2012. However, candidates residing in remotely located states like Arunachal Pradesh can submit their application form by 4 December 2012. The other States which have been given extended time includes Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti districts and Pangi Sub- Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshdweep or abroad. Candidate residing in these States have to send application through post or speed post. The benefit of extended time will not be available regardless of the place of residence of the applicant, if received by hand or courier service.
Please note that candidates themselves are responsible for non receipt of their application or of delay in receipt of application or thereof on any account whatsoever. Board will not entertain the application received after the above mentioned last date. So, candidate must ensure that their application reach the Board’s office before the closing date.
Candidates are hereby informed that application received through Couriers or Courier Services of any kind will be considered as having been received ‘By Hand’ at the Board’s Counter.
