The Bharati Vidyapeeth University has announced the date of its Common Entrance Test 2014 for admissions to B.Tech courses. According to the announcement, the Bharati Vidyapeeth Common Entrance Test (BVP CET) 2014 for the engineering stream will be held on 25 May 2014.
The BVP CET- Engineering is a University level entrance exam conducted by the Bharati Vidyapeeth University as a criterion to determine the eligibility of students for admission to B. Tech courses available in colleges affiliated to the University.
To apply for BVP CET - Engineering 2014, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as their main subject as well as Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology in optional. The general category students must have scored minimum 50% marks in qualifying examination and those belong to reserved category need to score minimum 45% marks.
Candidates can apply for the BVP CET - Engineering 2014 either online or offline on or before 15 May 2014. The application form can be downloaded from the official website or can be accessed by post from the University. The application fee for the test is Rs. 1500/- which applicants can pay either online or offline.
The BVP CET - Engineering 2014 has been scheduled to be conducted on 25 May 2014. The test will include a written paper consisting of questions on Physics and Mathematics in different sections of 100 marks each, and the duration of the exam will be 3 hours. Each correct answer will get one mark and there won’t be negative marks for the wrong answer.
The results of BVP CET - Engineering 2014 will be declared, as per the announced schedule, on 11 June 2014, and the counseling will be held from 26 June 2014 to 4 July 2014.
