Bihar Board Class 10 Social Science Paper Analysis 2024: Student Feedback, Difficulty Level and Expert Review

BSEB Class 10 Social Science Exam Analysis 2024: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Class 10 examination for the academic year 2023–24 has begun for students. On February 19, 2024, the BSEB successfully conducted the class 10 Social Science paper.

BSEB Class 10 Social Science Paper Analysis 2024

BSEB conducted class 10 Social Science paper today, on February 19, 2024, from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm. 

• The question paper was divided into two sections: Section A and Section B.
• In Section A, there were 80 objective-type questions, of which 40 were compulsory. If the candidate answers more than 40 questions, only the first 40 answers will be evaluated. Each question carries one mark.
• In Section B, there were short-answer-type questions for five subjects (history, political science, economics, geography, and disaster management) of social science. Each question carries two marks.
• History had six short-answer type questions (Q Nos. 1 to 6), out of which any three questions were to be answered. 
• Political Science had 4 short-answer type questions (Q. Nos. 9 to 12), out of which any 2 questions were to be answered.
• Economics had 4 short-answer type questions  (Q. Nos. 15 to 18), out of which any 2 questions were to be answered.
• Geography had six short-answer type questions (Q. Nos. 21 to 26), out of which any three questions were to be answered.
• Disaster Management had 4 short-answer type questions  (Q. Nos. 29 to 32), out of which any 2 questions were to be answered.
• There were 8 long-answer type questions (Q. Nos. 7, 8, 13, 14, 19, 20, 27, 28). Each question carried four marks. One long-answer type question from history, political science, economics, and geography were to be answered.

BSEB Class 10 Social Science Paper Analysis 2024: Students Reactions

• Students claimed the BSEB 10th Social Science paper was lengthy but manageable. 
• Students revealed that the paper was moderately easy. 
• Everything was asked out of the prescribed syllabus for Class 10 social science. 
• The MCQs part of the paper was easy and factual. 
• The language of the questions was direct in nature, which made it easy for the students to understand the demands of the questions.
