CAT 2014 is set to be conducted on 16th and 22nd November 2014. Now last ten days are left for the examination day, it is time to gear up yet relax. CAT 2014 has seen many changes in the examination pattern. The structure of the exam has changed. CAT 2014 aspirants need to keep the exam structure in mind.
CAT 2014 Exam Structure: Questions are framed from mainly five areas namely - Verbal ability and reasoning, Reading comprehension, Quantitative skills, Data interpretation and Logical reasoning. All the questions would be of multiple-choice type with optional answer choices. The new change is that the test duration would be of 170 minutes this year as compared to last year's 140 minutes. Also, the time duration of the examination has been increased by 30 more minutes. This has also called for an increase in the number of questions that the paper would contain.
