CAT 2018 Exam Date Announced: The CAT 2018 MBA entrance exam date has been announced officially by the exam conducting body on their official website. The official website www.iimcat.ac.in has put up a notification on their website stating that the CAT 2018 MBA entrance exam will be held on 25th November 2018, Sunday. Along with announcing the CAT 2018 exam date, the notification also states that the detailed notification regarding the CAT 2018 will be released in the month of July / August 2018.
The news has come across as a great relief for the MBA aspirants gearing up to take the most popular MBA entrance exam of the country. The declaration of CAT exam date will help them plan their preparation strategy well in advance to crack the entrance exam.
The notification available on the official website of CAT 2018 says that the ‘CAT 2018 will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018. Detailed notification for CAT 2018 may be released in July / August 2018. (IIMs reserve the right to change the test date in case of exceptional circumstances)’. MBA aspirants who are planning to appear for the CAT 2018 should start their preparations accordingly.
Although the date has been confirmed on the official website, the exam conducting body has also put a disclaimer stating that “IIMs reserve the right to change the test date in case of exceptional circumstances.” However, going by the past track-record, the CAT exam date is unlikely to be changed by the exam conducting authority, as future of nearly 2 lakh MBA aspirants depends on the exam.
