CBSE Compartment Exam for 10th, 12th: Check Application Details and Previous Year Question Papers

Students of CBSE Class 10 and Class 12, who failed to qualify any subject in the Board Exam Results 2018 or are not satisfied with their marks in any particular subject and want to improve the same are invited to apply for the compartment exams 2018. 

CBSE has released a notice for both private and regular candidates of CBSE Class 10^th/12^th to apply for the compartment exams 2018.

Online submission of forms of Compartment Exams for Regular Candidates

Regular candidates who appeared in the Board examinations held in March 2018 through schools affiliated to CBSE and declared as COMPARTMENT can apply the examination in that one subject.

Candidate with 6 subjects and placed in compartment in two subjects shall appear in any one of two subjects.

Or

Candidates who have appeared in 6 subjects in March 2018 and declared PASS but could not clear one subject can appear in that subject in July 2018 Examination as an Improvement category

Note: Candidates who have appeared for March 2018 Examination as regular candidates from CBSE affiliated institutions should approach the schools from which they have appeared in Class 10^th/12^th.

Online submission of forms of Compartment Exams for Private Candidates

Candidates who have appeared in March 2018 Examination as a Private Candidate and placed under compartment will be eligible to apply in that one subject only.

Candidate with 6 subjects and placed in compartment in two subjects shall appear in any one of two subjects.

Or

Candidates who have appeared in 6 subjects and declared PASS but failed to clear one subject can appear in that subject in July 2018 Examination as an Improvement category

Note: Compartment Examination 2018 will be the last chance for candidates who appeared class XII Examination held in March 2017 Examination.

Fees can be deposited through payment gateway (Credit/Debit card/Net banking/International card in case the candidate applying from outside India) only.

Admit cards for Compartment Examinations 2018 will be made available to download from the website of CBSE., www.cbse.nic.in from 2nd week of July 2018.

CBSE Compartment Examination Schedule

The examination for regular and private students will be conducted in the month of July 2018.

As per the schedule followed in previous years, CBSE Compartment Exams 2018 are expected to commence from third week of July 2018 and end till last week of July.
