The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for the 22nd consecutive year, is providing counselling services to students and parents to overcome common psychological problems and general queries related to Class 10 and Class 12 results. CBSE has already started the second phase of its counselling services from May 02 all across the country and abroad. The Post-Result CBSE counselling will continue till May 16, 2019 daily from 8 AM to 10 PM on all days. All these services are provided free of cost to counsel the stressed out students across the geographical spread.
CBSE Tele-Counselling :
CBSE Tele-Counselling team has 72 counsellors which include principals, special educators and trained counsellors. Out of these, 51 experts are in India and 21 in Foreign including Japan, Nepal, UAE, Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, Singapore and Qatar. All these experts volunteers will provide free of cost service on behalf of Board.
Centralized Toll Free Access in India
Students can contact the CBSE post-result counselling team through a Centralized Access System by dialling a toll free number 1800118004 from any part of the country.
The toll free access provides two options to callers:
(i) Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS): Here students will be helped with useful tips on dealing with problems and issues related to results. IVRS can be accessed anytime anywhere by callers.
(ii) Line Connectivity: Through this mode, tele operators will connect the students with result related anxiety or stress, to the principals, trained counsellors or special educator where they will be provided free counselling to deal with the situation. The tele helpline will be operational from 08 AM to 10 PM from 02nd May to 16th May 2019 on all days.
