CBSE has announced the date of exam of CTET February 2016. This time the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be organised on 21st February 2016 (Sunday).
In the CTET Exam February 2016, there will be two papers, as per two different levels to determine eligibility conditions either for primary classes or elementary classes. Candidates who want to pursue their career in primary school teacher (i.e. for classes I to V) should attempt Paper – I, while those who want to teach in classes VI to VIII, should attempt Paper –II.
Eligibility conditions for appearing CTET exam is graduation with at least 50% of marks with one year B.Ed. degree or two year diploma in education.
In accordance with the directives of Ministry of HRD and norms of National Council of Teacher Education, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi has been organising CTET twice a year, usually in the months of February and September since the year 2011.
Each time more than lacs of candidates from all India appear this teacher certification test and those qualified apply to various schools of central as well as state government schools across the country.
