CBSE Extends Window Period to Conduct ASL Skills

With most of its affiliated schools failing to work in sink with the allotted time period, CBSE has issued a notification on Jan 20, for the extension of the time period of Assessment of Speaking and Listening skills test for classes IX, X and XI.

Dr Praggya M Singh, Assistant professor and joint director,  signed the circular stating “The window period to conduct the Assessment of Speaking and Listening (ASL) skills test for classes IX, X and XI has been extended till February 10.”

This notification is a further update to that issued on 7 December 2015, which stated the window period to conduct the ASL skills test to be from 15th December 2015 to 30th January 2016, along with a step by step guideline to download test material.

Procedure and guidelines for conducting the ASL test remains the same.

Schools can upload the marks obtained by students, for ASL test 2015-16, through the online link to be provided on www.cbseacademic.in from 11 February to 22 February 2016.
