CBSE Pioneered Creative Writing Contest on Deendayal Upadhyaya

CBSE had pioneered creative writing contest on Deendayal Upadhyaya, Bhartiya Jan Sangh leader, who is also known for his alliance with RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh). Entries can also be submitted online or through Whatsapp.

Students can use numerous mediums including poem, essay, one act plays, paintings, drawings, sketches or a mix of different mediums that suggest the message of the topic. The declaration of results would be done on September 25, on the birthday of Deendayal Upadhyaya.

"Central Board of Secondary Education is dedicated to holistic growth of students and strongly feels that students must be made aware of altruistic and courageous services of women & men who have served the nation. The life of Deendayal Upadhyaya and his contribution can be a source of motivation for the present generation", said Sadhana Parashar, director (academics, training, research & innovation).

All participants will get an online participation certificate. Under each category, the winner of selected entries will get a chance to win a prize of Rs 5000. The participants making entries through online mode can openly enter their responses through the link available on the website www.cbseacademic.in. This can also be conducted offline by schools. The entries can be sent through mail to cbsewriting@gmail.com.
