CBSE: Students to mark the birthday of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya

On the occasion of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s birthday, more than a crore students from CBSE schools will participate in a competition on September 25th. The initiative is termed as "Expression Series".

On the occasion of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s birthday, more than a crore students from CBSE schools will participate in a competition on September 25th. The initiative is termed as "Expression Series". Guidelines have been issued by the Board for activities to be conducted.

"CBSE proclaims an Expression Series on Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. The life of such renowned thinker can be a source of inspiration for the present generation. The series will open from September 19 to September 22. Participants can propose their entries from 9 am to 5 pm. Winners will be declared on September 25, the birthday of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya."

The competition is open for students from classes I to XII. The entries for the competition can be submitted offline or online, in 22 scheduled languages or in English.  Entries can be made individually. It can also be made as a pair or as a team of not over 5 students”, stated CBSE circular on September 19. This will be the 1st time that students across India will come together in celebrating the renowned thinker.
