In the annual meeting of the CBSE exam committee, the board has come up with the idea to make changes in the assessment pattern for classes IX and X. According to the CBSE’s circular regarding this amendment, the students from classes IX and X will have to appear compulsorily for the two summative assessments (SA) and pass them with a certain minimum percentage of marks. If a child could not appear for any one SA, the school will hold the other exam for him/her.
