The Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) is inviting exceptionally talented students of recognized schools or students belonging to families who have been practicing traditional performing arts in order to attain specialized training in different cultural field, namely, traditional forms of music, drama, dance, sculpture, painting, crafts literary activities etc.
The last date to submit the application form is January 31, 2018. In order to be eligible for this scholarship, candidates need to go through the below-mentioned procedure:
Candidates must be aged between 10-14 years on the closing date of the competition.
The scholarship value of INR 3600 p.a. and reimbursement of up to INR 9000 consisting of the fee paid to the guru, teacher or institution for the specialized training will be given each year to the scholarship winner.
100 scholarships are for Tribal Culture, for Scheduled Tribe candidates, 125 scholarships are for children of families practising traditional arts, 20 scholarships are for differently abled children, and 30 scholarships are for students who are applying in the field of creative writing, literary arts and rest 370 scholarships will be general.
