CDS Exam I 2016:How to fill OMR Sheet

Candidate needs to know how to fill OMR answer sheet of CDS Exam I 2016, which will help in to save time in the examination hall.

CDS (Combined Defence Service) which will be conducted on 14th February 2016, which is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) for the post of for the recruitment of various vacancies under INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY (IMA), INDIAN NAVAL ACADEMY (INA), Air Force Academy. Candidates need to be very careful while filling the application form as they have to decide the centre of examination to appear for the written paper(I) 2016.  Candidates should note that no request for changes of location will be entrained thereafter.
Candidates are requested to follow General Instructions given below carefully. As the answer sheets of CDS Exam written paper (I) will be evaluated on machines so, negligence of any instruction can lead you into trouble in getting a good result for which candidates themselves will be responsible.

General Instruction to Fill OMR sheet CDS Exam (I) 2016

•After receiving the answer sheet, candidates should check the number at the bottom of the sheet if it is not mentioned then he/ she can replace from the invigilator for the mentioned numbered sheet.

•Particulars mentioned in the answer sheets are the centre, subject, S. code, Roll number. Candidates are suggested to correctly mention the columns, For instance, Centre: Mumbai, Subject: Mathematics, S. code: ‘D’, Roll no. : 01725.

•The test Booklet series is indicated by the alphabets A. B, C, D at the top right of the hand of a booklet.

•Candidates need to write their correct Roll numbers which are mentioned on the Admission Certificate any single mistake can lead to problems for you because if the roll number does not match with your other details examiner may cancel your sheet.

•Concealing of the Test Booklets series is done after receiving the test booklets and confirming the booklets series for the same.

•Usage of black ball pen is allowed to fill the columns.

•Any white fluid, eraser, blade etc used for correction in OMR will not be permitted.

•More than one choice is not allowed in OMR sheet. Any multiple answers marked against one question will not be considered for evaluation and even making alterations will result in zero marks.

•Candidates are not allowed to do any rough work on the OMR Sheet. It may be done in the space provided in the Test Booklet/Question paper.

•Do not fold, damage or mutilate the OMR sheet.

Important Guidance for CDS Exam (I) 2016

•OMR sheet will be scanned or processed through the machine.

•Candidates have to fully darken the circles of the right answer of their choice.

•Cut/tick/cross is not allowed as the machine will not read the answers.

•More than one OMR sheet will not be given to any candidate; it will be accepted in case of manufacturing defects, and damaged.

As CDS (Combined Defence Service) written examination (I) 2016 contains negative marking too so, candidates are suggested to fill the answer sheet carefully.
