CDS Exam I 2016: do’s and don’ts in the Examination hall

CDS (combined Defence Service) written examination is appearing soon which is conducted by UPSC (Union Public service Commission) dated on 14th February 2016. It is one of the most esteemed examinations of our nation. People who have seen their future in serving the nation must be excited or nervous about the first hurdle as it is the toughest examination though not impossible. Preparation and good hard work are needed no doubt in that, but besides that candidates should know about the procedure of examination hall. Sometime even the most sincere candidates make a mistake before entering into the examination hall. Proper guidance is given below to understand the Do’s& don’t of examination hall with the requirements which are important for you while attempting for the written examination.
1.Eligibility Conditions: Candidates should make that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions to get the admission to the examination.
2.Verification: Candidates must be clear about their documents as eligibility conditions should be properly verified with their original documents. Just issuing of the Admission certificate will not imply that appearing for the written examination is final.
3.E- Admit Cards: All eligible candidates will be issued E- admit card two weeks before the commencement of the examination. The E- Admit card will be made available from UPSC website ( www.upsc.gov.in). No E- admits card will be sent by post. All the applicants are required to provide the valid and active email.id’s while filling for the online application form.
4.Facilitation Counter: In the case of any guidance candidates can clarify by contacting UPSC’s Facilitation counter near gate ‘C’ of its campus in person or over telephone only on working days.
DO’S (CDS Exam Hall)
•Candidates must carry their valid call letter to appear for the written examination of CDS (I) 2016.
•Candidates must carry their Id proofs with the admit card failing to do so will not be permitted to appear for the written examination.
•Clip board or hard board on which nothing is written is allowed in the examination hall.
•Black ball pen is allowed to circle the OMR sheet.
•Candidates must arrive examination hall on /before time. Late entries will not be entertained.
DON’T’S (CDS Exam hall)
•Do not bring any articles which are not mentioned above specifically, mathematical calculators, drawings instruments, books, notes, log tables, test booklets or even rough sheets as space will be provided in the question booklet for rough work.
•Mobile phones, pagers, Bluetooth device or any other means of communication is not permitted in the examination hall. Any violation of these instructions will lead to disciplinary actions by the commission and ban from future examination.
•Candidates are advised not to bring any banned item mentioned including mobile phones as responsibility for safety of your item will not be guaranteed.
•No candidate should copy from other candidate paper if found, disciplinary actions will be taken against them.
•No candidate should misbehave with the staff or hall invigilator, if found will be severely penalized.
