Eligibility Criteria for Central University of Kashmir Faculty & Library Staff post

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

• Professor: PhD in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
• Associate Professor:  PhD & Master Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines with 8 years experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position or equivalent.
• Assistant Professor:  Master Degree in relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree and NET qualified conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
• Librarian: Master Degree in Library Science or Information Science or Documentation with 13 years experience as a Deputy Librarian in a university library or 18 years experience as a College Librarian.
• Deputy Librarian: Master Degree in Library Science or Information Science or Documentation with 5 years experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian.
