CGMCP Hiring 16 Research Professor and Other Posts; Apply by 24 April

Centre for Genetic Manipulation of Crop Plants (CGMCP) invited applications for the post of Research Professor and Other Posts. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format and walk in interview on 24 April 2017.

For Research Professor, candidates must possess retired Professor in Plant Sciences from any recognized University or Equivalent position from any research Organization

For Scientist ‘G’ (Position 1), candidates must possess Ph.D in any branch of Plant Sciences holding a position of Principal Scientist or equivalent from any research organization with at least 20 years of research experience in the areas of plant genomics and DNA markers in crop plants   

For Scientist ‘G’ (Position 1), candidates must possess PH.D in Breeding holding a position of Principal Scientist or equivalent from any research organization with at least 20 years of research experience in field breeding and marker assisted breeding

For Scientist ‘E’, candidates must possess   Ph.D in any branch of Plant Sciences holding or retired as principal Scientist or equivalent from any research organization with at least  15 years of research experience in the areas of In-Vittro techniques such as Doubled haploids and transgenics development in crop plants

For Scientist ‘C’, candidates must possess  Ph.D in Plant Sciences with at least 5 years of research experience in crop plants. Preference will be given to persons having extensive research experience in Plant Genomics/marker assisted breeding in plants

For Executive Officer, candidates must possess B.Sc (Agriculture) with at least 10 years of experience in designing field experiments in Plant Breeding

For Senior Technical Officer, candidates must possess B.Sc. with at least 10 years of lab experience in the field of Plant Genomics (cloning and Sequencing) and transgenic development

For Technical Officer, candidates must possess B.Sc with at least 8 years of lab experience in Plant tissue culture

For Senior Technical Assistant (Position 1), candidates must possess B.Com with at least six years in computer and accounting

For Senior Technical Assistant (Position 2), candidates must possess B.Com with at least six years in the field of Plant Genomic and marker genotyping

For Technical Assistant, candidates must possess B.Sc with at least two years of experience in Plant tissue

For Senior Lab Attendant, candidates must possess Higher Secondary in Science with at least 8 Years of working in Plant tissue

For Lab Attendant (Position 1 & 2), candidates must possess Class 10^th pass with 5 years’ experience in  a research lab 

For Field Attendant (Position 1 & 2), candidates must possess Class 5^th pass with minimum five years of experience in plant breeding research fieldwork

For Lab Attendant (Genome Mapping and Molecular Breeding of Brassicas), candidates must possess class 10^th pass with some experience in biological science research labs
