Eligibility Criteria for Technical and Non-Teaching Posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Executive Engineer: B.E./B.Tech Degree in Electrical / Civil Engineering from a recognized / Institute / University with minimum experience of 08 years as Assistant Engineer(Electrical / Civil)/equivalent position holders

Assistant Engineer (Elec): B.E./B.Tech Degree in Electrical / Civil Engineering from a recognized / Institute / University with minimum 05 years experience in Government Department/Public Undertaking/Construction Agency of national repute not below the rank of Junior Engineer or equivalent.

Assistant Registrar: Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B‟ in the UGC 7 pt scale with 5-years experience as Sr. Superintendant /Sr. Accounts Officer in Academic/Administration/Finance.

Medical Officer: MBBS degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade point average from a recognized University/Institute and having registration with Medical Council of India. Must have completed internship from a recognized / reputed hospital as prescribed by the State / Centre Health Department with 02 years working experience in hospital.

Workshop Superintendent: B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with first class or equivalent with minimum 03 years experience in an Industry/Technical Institution/ITI at the level of Astt. Workshop superintendent / Sr. Technician.

Security Officer: Graduate with 08 years experience in Supervisory grade plus Military/NCC/FF training and able to ride light vehicle/Motor cycle and handle arms.

Accountant: Bachelor Degree in Commerce from a recognized University with experience as prescribed by the G.O.I. DOPT. Candidate should have 05-year experience in the concerned field.

Junior Superintendent: Graduate in any discipline from recognized university with minimum 05 (five) years‟ working experience as Sr. Assistant or Equivalent in Engineering/Technical Institute of National Importance like IITs/NITs/CFTIs and similar Govt. Institutions.

Store Keeper: Any graduate or equivalent from a recognized University with minimum 05 years in the capacity of Sr. Assistant having knowledge of Tendering Process & Evaluation/ Store & purchase /Accountancy.

Pharmacist: Matriculation or equivalent with Diploma or degree in Pharmacy granted by an institution of the Central/ State Govt. or an institution recognized by the Central or State Govt. and should be registered as a “Pharmacist” under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.

Jr. Accountant: Bachelor Degree in Commerce from a recognized university with an experience as prescribed by G.O.I. DOPT

Selection Process for Technical and Non-Teaching Posts

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Trade Test/Written Test/Personal Interview shall be conducted at Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar.
