    CMAT 2019 Exam Analysis - The exam analysis of CMAT 2019 will be done right after the exam is conducted. CMAT 2018 was held on January 20, 2018. The CMAT exam is administered by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The CMAT exam analysis will contain detailed information on the exam structure, major topics, marking scheme and difficulty level of the CMAT 2019. The CMAT 2019 registrations are likely to start in the third week of October, 2018 and may continue up to fourth week of December, 2018.  CMAT 2019 is expected to be held in the third week of January, 2019. CMAT 2019 exam analysis will be done after the exam is held in January 2019.  

    CMAT 2019 aspirants can go through the previous CMAT exam analysis to understand and become familiar with the topics, exams structure and what to expect in the CMAT 2019 exam.

    CMAT Exam Analysis- Previous Year

    The CMAT exam witnessed lakh of MBA aspirants for the MBA entrance exam that was held across India. The three hour long exam got over at 12.30pm and was conducted in a single session. Aspirants had mixed reviews about CMAT 2018. Some mentioned that although the exam was conducted on anticipated lines but GK section was tough to solve and logical reasoning section was tricky. Others mentioned that the paper was easy compared to previous year. So here is the sectional analysis of CMAT 2018 exam that will throw light upon the level of difficulty faced by the exam takers.

    CMAT Logical Reasoning Section

    To begin with the CMAT exam analysis, let us first discuss the topics and type of questions asked in Logical Reasoning section. Lot of aspirants said that the LR section was tricky and time consuming. The LR section comprised of 25 questions wherein 4 marks were allotted for choosing the correct option and a negative marking of 1 mark as assigned against choosing wrong choice. Question from Family Tree, Puzzles, Series, Directions, Syllogisms were asked from the aspirants.

    In all an aspirant who attempted 21-23 questions with accuracy can expect a good percentile in LR section.

    CMAT Language Comprehension Section

    According to the analysis of CMAT exam, in this section, questions from reading comprehension and verbal ability were asked from candidates. They were required to answer 25 questions as against the marking scheme mentioned in the previous section. Aspirants faced difficulty in solving Language Comprehension section because the options were closely associated. This created confusion and doubt in choosing the correct option.

    Overall a decent attempt of 22 questions with accuracy could help CMAT exam takers fetch good percentile in CMAT 2018.

    CMAT Quantitative Technique and Data Interpretation Section

    The QT section was dominated by Arithmetic-based questions. Overall this section was moderately difficult with merely 2-3 questions putting skills of candidate to test. The DI section was easy to handle. It didn’t carry any set based question this time. Candidates who attempted 23-25 attempts in this section with accuracy can expect a wonderful percentile in the exam.

    GK section of CMAT Exam

    Like all other section, even GK section had 25 questions to check the general aptitude of candidates. Out of 25 questions, seven were from current affairs and rest 18 were asked from static GK. This section has a high difficulty level. GK section had 5 easy, 8 medium and 12 difficult questions. Questions from genres such as social issues, polity, sports and famous personality were asked. An attempt of around 10 to 13 questions with accuracy can fetch a good score in exam.

    Overall Exam Analysis of CMAT 2018

    CMAT exam takers who attempted 75 to 78 questions in the exam with accuracy could expect a call in GD and PI round. This year, a score of 220-230 marks in CMAT 2018 has the potential to get 99 percentile in the exam.
