Eligibility Criteria for Welder, Fitter, Diesel Mechanic and other Job

Educational Qualification and Age Limit:

• Welder: Pass in SSLC and ITI-National Trade Certificate in the trade of Welder.
• Fitter: Pass in SSLC and ITI- NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Sheet Metal Worker or Fitter.
• Diesel Mechanic: Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Mechanic Diesel.
• Fitter (Electrical): Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Electrician.
• Fitter (Pipe): Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Fitter Pipe/Plumber.
• Draughtsman (Civil): Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Draughtsman (Civil).
• Operator (Weigh Bridge): Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Mechanic Diesel/ Mechanic Motor Vehicle/ Electronic Mechanic.
• Operator (Lathe): Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Machinist.
• Operator (Milling & Drilling): Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Machinist.
• Operator (Crane): Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Fitter / Machinist / Electrician / Electronic Mechanic.
• Operator (MHE & Transporter): Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in any trade.
• Semi-Skilled Rigger: Pass in IV Std.
• Driver (Ambulance & other Vehicles): a) Pass in SSLC. b) A valid Driving License (DL) for driving Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV) issued by the Union of India.
• Nurse: a) Diploma in Nursing from an Institution recognized by Nursing Council of India. b) Valid registration under the State Nursing Council.
• Personal Secretary: Pass in three year Degree in Arts (other than Fine Arts/Performing Arts) or Science or Commerce or Computer Applications or Business Administration (B.A/B.Sc/B.Com/BCA BBA) from a recognized University or b) Speed of 80 words per minute in Shorthand and 25 words per minute in computer transcription in English.
• Project Assistant (Mechanical): Three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 60% of marks from a State Board of Technical Education.
• Project Assistant (Electronics): Three-year Diploma in Electronics Engineering with 60% of marks from a State Board of Technical Education.
• Project Assistant (Materials): Three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 60% of marks from a State Board of Technical Education.
• Project Assistant (Commercial): a) Pass in three-year Diploma in Commercial Practice/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology with 60% of marks from a State Board of Technical Education. OR b) Degree in Arts (other than Fine Arts/ Performing Arts)/ Science/ Mathematics/ Commerce/ Computer Applications/ Business Administration with 60% of marks from a recognized University.
• Project Assistant (Finance): Post Graduate Degree in Commerce from a recognized University.
• Age Limit: Not exceed 30 years as on 11 February 2021.

Eligible and interested persons can appear for walk-in-interview on 09 to 11 February 2021. Candidates meeting the requirements shall attend a Walk-in selection to be held from 09 February 2021 to 11 February 2021 from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm at Don Bosco Technical Institute, 23 Darga Road, Park Circus, Kolkata-700017.
