Admit cards for the Common Admission Test 2015 (CAT 2015) have been released by the Indian Institute of Management (IIMs). The admit cards can be downloaded from the official website by the candidates who have opted for the examination this year. The CAT 2015 examination will be conducted in two sessions. The examination is scheduled to be held on 29 November 2015.
Common Admission Test (CAT) will be conducted in 650 exam centers around 136 cities over the country. The CAT examination duration has been increased this year to 180 minutes, which was previously 170 minutes. Multiple Choice questions will be asked in there sections at the examination which are: Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and Verbal and Reading Comprehension. A total of 100 questions will be asked from these three sections. Along with MCQs there might be questions for which the candidates might have to type the answer on the computer screen below the questions. This is a major change this year in the question pattern of the CAT examination. The body has also decided to allow basic on-screen calculator for computation which is available on screen for the candidates.
While answering questions in a particular section the candidates need to finish it first, as there is no option of switching to other one. Those candidates having Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks from any recognized university/institute can opt for this examination. Reservation of seats in the examination is according to the Government of India rules.
