Common Aptitude Test for English (CATE ) 2012 declared

The results for Common Aptitude Test for English (CATE) 2012 is out. The results were declared on 22 June 2012. The test is going to further demarcate the admission of students for eight forty seats (English Hons) in twenty one different D.U colleges. Students took the CATE examination on 9 June 2012.

An approximate figure of 12,178 students took the examination, out of which 1,230 belonged to the OBC category. Forty six colleges in Delhi University offer English Hons out of which almost twenty one select students on the basis of CATE. There is a speculation doing the rounds, that this year,2012 the colleges may rise their cut off banner.

Last year,2011 a whopping ninety eight students  had touched above eighty, which is expected to rise in 2012.
