RRB has released notifications for 27019 vacancies for RRB ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot) jobs across India. This is a golden opportunity for candidates who are dreaming for Central Government jobs. The exam pattern and syllabus of RRB ALP 2018 is available here.
Appearing candidates can take a deep look at the recruitment process, the exam pattern and syllabus of the examination to be held later this year.
The recruitment process will be based on the following ways.
The First Stage CBT (Computer-Based Test) will be conducted for 75 marks and the time duration will be 60 minutes. Questions will be asked from General Awareness, General Intelligence, Reasoning, and General Science.
The Second Stage CBT (Computer-Based Test) will be conducted for 120 marks, 120 questions will be asked and the time duration will be 2 hours 30 minutes. Each question will carry 1 mark.
The test will be carried out in two parts, part A, and part B.
Time duration of Part A will be 90 minutes and questions will be asked from Mathematics, General Intelligence and reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering, And General Awareness on Current Affairs. 25 questions will be asked of each subject.
Time duration of Part B will be 60 minutes and the questions will be selected from the following disciplines:
Electrical & Combination of Electrical Engineering
Electrician / Instrument Mechanic / Wireman / Winder (Armature) / Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanics.
Electronics & Combination of Electronics Engineering
Electronics Mechanics / Mechanics Radio & TV / Fitter / Mechanics Motor Vehicle / Tractor Mechanics / Mechanic Diesel / Turner / Machinist / Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanics / Heat Engine / Millwright Maintenance Mechanics
Automobile & Combination of Automobile Engineering
Mechanics Motor Vehicle / Tractor Mechanics / Mechanics Diesel / Heat Engine / Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanics
HSC(10+2) with Maths and Physics
