Eligibility Conditions for CSIR – IICB, Kolkata Recruitment 2019

Educational Qualification

• Scientists– PhD thesis submitted in Life Sciences (Microbiology / Physiology / Biotechnology / Zoology / Biochemistry).
• Senior Scientists– PhD in related areas with minimum two years of postdoctoral experience in the relevant area.
• Principal Scientists– PhD in Science with minimum three years postdoctoral research experience in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.

Age Limits (as on last date of application)

• Scientists– 32 years
• Senior Scientists–37 years
• Principal Scientists– 45 years

Note: Age Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per the Government Norms.
