Eligibility Criteria for CSIR- IGIB Research Associate, Project Assistant, JRF & Project Scientist post
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
- Research Associate-I: PhD in Biochemistry/Biology/Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biological Sciences/Bioinformatics with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal, BAMS degree with one year internship and 3 years relevant experience OR MD in Ayurveda, PhD Thesis submitted in Biomedical Sciences/Life Sciences with research experience in Genomics or Genome informatics.
- Project Assistant-II: MSc or B.Tech in Biomedical Sciences/Biotechnology/any branch of Life Sciences/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Bioinformatics, B.Pharm and B.E. in any branch of Life Sciences.
- JRF (Project): MSc/B.Tech in any branch of Life Sciences/Biotechnology.
- Project Scientist (Information Technology): PhD in Computer Science/Computational Biology/Bioinformatics with outstanding academic records and publication in reputed SCI journals with proven ability for high quality R&D work.
- Project Assistant-III: MSc/B.E./B.Tech in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Information Technology and minimum two years relevant experience in Molecular Biology/Immunology and Biochemistry OR M.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology/any branch of Biological Sciences/Biotechnology, BAMS degree with one year internship and B.Pharm and minimum two years relevant experience in Molecular Biology/Immunology and Biochemistry.
- Project Assistant-I: BSc in Biology.
Age Limit for CSIR- IGIB Research Associate, Project Assistant, JRF & Project Scientist post:
- Research Associate-I: Maximum 35 years
- Project Assistant-II: Maximum 30 years
- JRF (Project): Maximum 28 years
- Project Scientist (Information Technology): Maximum 40 years
