Amid all speculations and perceptions, Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2015 had something unpleasant for all the examinees. The examination riddled with errors with more than 10 OMR sheets missing from Delhi and an incomplete reading passage in Marathi paper.
Conducted all over the nation at 988 centers with almost 7.4 lakh candidates, the CTET examination has upset the examinees. In addition to the flaws mentioned above, complaints have also been issued regarding printing errors as well. Even the OMR sheet code didn’t match with that of the question paper in many cases.
Another major flaw in the entire examination procedure was the preparation of answer keys, post examination and the answer keys were uploaded a month after the examination.
While the Board agreed to the printing error in Marathi language it discards the allegations on the preparation of answer keys. It has confirmed that the answer keys are top secret operations and are usually prepared after the examination is over. However it has not yet replied for the missing OMR sheets.
CTET is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) every year for recruiting fresher talents into the teaching sector of the country.
