CUET PG Eligibility Criteria 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) PG 2025 notification and started the  CUET PG 2025 Registration Process for the 2025–26 session on January 2, 2025. The CUET PG is being introduced for admission into PG programmes in Central and participating Universities for the academic session 2025-25. For which NTA will conduct the online examination from March 13 2025 to March 31 2025. In this article, we will discuss the education qualification, age limit, minimum percentage and other key points of the CUET PG exam 2025. All prospective candidates of the CUET PG exam 2025 are advised to check the CUET PG 2025 Eligibility Criteria for the academic session 2025-26.

CUET PG 2025: Overview

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being introduced for admission into PG programmes in Central, State and Participating Universities/ Institutions for Academic Session 2025-25 under the Ministry of Education (MoE).

The Common University Entrance Test CUET (PG) - 2025 will provide a common platform and equal opportunity to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas and help establish better connections with the Universities. A single application form will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admission process to various Central and participating Universities. CUET PG 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The CUET PG Eligibility Criteria is released by NTA in the official information bulletin. Every student needs to fulfil these conditions to appear in the CUET PG exam. Also, it must be noted that for final admission, the student must fulfil the eligibility criteria required by respective CUET PG participating universities/institutes.

CUET PG 2025 Age Limit

There is no age limit for the candidates for appearing in the CUET (PG) 2025. However, the candidates will be required to fulfil the age criteria of the University in which they are interested to take admission. 

CUET PG 2025 Education Qualification

The candidates who have passed the bachelor's degree/equivalent examination or appearing in 2025 can appear in the CUET PG 2025 examination. There is no minimum percentage of marks set by NTA to apply for the CUET PG 2025 exam, however, the candidates must have the minimum percentage of marks set by any individual university/institute.

Some key points regarding CUET PG 2025, which every candidate must know before applying CUET PG 2025, are given below:

  • For admission to Universities through CUET PG 2025, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc. of the respective University shall be applicable. 
  • As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs.
  • Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University they are applying to. 
  • Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing passing marks on the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Programme unless he/she fulfils the Programme eligibility conditions of the University they are applying to.
