The Trustee of the Fund will be the National Credit Guarantee Trustee Company Ltd. (NCGTC Ltd) which is a wholly-owned by Government of India constituted in 2013 under the Companies Act, 1956 to manage and operate various credit guarantee funds. Under the fund, the guarantee would be provided on a portfolio basis to a maximum extent of 50 percent of Amount in Default in the portfolio.

India’s very first ferry boat named ‘Aditya’ powered by solar energy panels deployed in the backwaters of Alappuzha in Kerala by the Kerala State Water Transport Department. It has been now the country’s largest commercially operated solar-powered mode of transport. The 75-seater passenger boat is being built by a Kochi based firm NavAlt, in collaboration with a French company at Aroor in Alappuzha district of Kerala. The battery and motor console, which have undergone testing, have been imported from France. In all likelihood, the ferry will hit the waters by the end of June. The Kerala State Water Transport Department (KSWTD) plans to operate the boat on the 2.5 km route between Vaikkom and Thavanakkadavu.
