DAIICT 2014 B.Tech. Online Application Date Extended:
DA-IICT is a University established under an Act of Gujarat State Legislature (Act No. 6 of 2003). It is also UGC recognized statutory university and it has announced admissions to the fourteenth batch (2014 Batch) of its B Tech (Information and Communication Technology) (ICT) program and second batch (2014 batch) of B Tech (Honours n ICT with minor in Computational Science).The last date for DAIICT B.Tech Application Form 2014 has been extended till July 4, 2014.

Selection Process:
Admission to B.Tech (Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and B.Tech (Honours in ICT with minor in Computational Science), will be based on the All India Rank of Joint Entrance Examination 2014 (JEE-2014) Main, which is conducted by CBSE. Therefore, candidates who are appearing for JEE 2014 Main can only apply for these programs. The short-listed candidates, based on the All India Ranking of JEE 2014, will be will be offered admission (confirmed/ waitlisted) in order of their merit.

Number of Seats:
B.Tech (Information and Communication Technology (ICT) – 240
B.Tech (Honours in ICT with minor in Computational Science) - 60
Gujarat Category: 50% of seats are reserved for candidates  who  have  passed  the  Qualifying  Examination from  the schools  located  in  the State of Gujarat. These seats are to be filled filled through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat.

All India Category: The remaining fifty per cent will be filled in directly by DA-IICT.
In addition to the 300 seats, 30 seats will be offered to Non-Resident Indians/Foreign Nationals through DAFS.

Application Procedure:
Candidates will be required to submit online application form available on the official website of DA-IICT. Application fee (non-refundable) is Rs. 1200/-. Payment of application Fee also need to made online.
