Delhi Home Guard Age Limit 2024
As per the official notification, the age of candidates must be at least 20 years as of the prescribed dates when applying for the Delhi Home Guard recruitment 2024. Candidates should not have been born earlier than January 2, 1979 or later than January 1, 2004, when applying for the post. Delhi Home Guard Educational Qualification 2024
Candidates must have passed the 12th standard (Senior Secondary) (for Ex-Servicemen/Ex-CAPF personnel, it will be a 10th pass) from any recognised board as the minimum Delhi Home Guard educational qualification. If candidates fail to fulfil any of the parameters of the Delhi Home Guard qualification, then it will lead to the cancellation of their candidature.
Delhi Home Guard Nationality 2024
Besides the Delhi Home Guard age limit criteria, aspirants should ensure they fulfil all the nationality criteria before proceeding with the application form. A candidate should be a citizen of India and a resident of the national capital territory of Delhi. Candidates must submit the resident proof of Delhi. They must possess any of the following IDs:
- Valid Passport
- Election Commission Photo ID Card
- Current and valid ration card bearing his name and photograph. If the ration card is without a photograph of the candidate, it must be supported by another identity proof bearing a photograph of the applicant.
- Valid driving licence issued by Transport Dept., GNCT Delhi.
- Duly attested passbook of a public sector bank account having photograph with a residential address in Delhi.
- Certificate issued by authorised government authority of Revenue Department, GNCT Delhi.
Delhi Home Guard Eligibility Criteria 2024: Physical Standard Measurements

Delhi Home Guard Eligibility Criteria 2024: Reservation
The Directorate General of Home Guards (DGHG), New Delhi, has invited online applications for enrollment of Home Guards volunteers for three years, which may be extended by two years with the reservation for different categories as shared below.

Important Note:
- Out of each category, one-third (33.33%) of the vacancies are reserved (horizontal reservation) for women.

Delhi Home Guard Eligibility Criteria 2024: Medical Standards
As per the Delhi Home Guard eligibility criteria 2024, all the shortlisted candidates shall be medically examined by the Medical Board in the Govt. Hospitals of GNCT Delhi on the following medical standards:
Eyesight

Hearing: free from any disability.
Defects or deformity: free from any defect or deformity of limbs.
Disease: free from hernia, piles, respiratory disease, diabetes, or any other disease that adversely affects the work as a Home Guard.
Other: Should not be flat-footed or suffering from knocked knees or bowed legs and should not be overweight (BMI 18.5 to 29.9)
Selected candidates will be required to produce a police clearance certificate for verification of character and antecedents through the Delhi Police online website while submitting acceptance of the offer of enrolment.
