Delhi Students Excelling Not Just In Studies but Extra-Curricular Activities Too

    South Delhi Public School of Defence Colony, Delhi demonstrated its high spirit by standing out in the 'Inter-district cultural competitions'.

    In the senior girls category, Student Yama Singh (XII Arts) got hold of first position in English declamation competition, while student Supriya Tripathi (XII-Arts) stood first in essay writing.

    In the sub junior girls category of English poem recitation competition, GitaAnjali Mishra (V-C ) excelled with position first whereas, among boys category,  Ashwini Sharma (VI-A) stood first in English extempore competition.

    Students of St. Thomas School, Indirapuram - Kartik Kharkwal bagged the first prize in inter-school art and craft competition 'Impression'. This competition was divided into 5 categories and various schools came to participate. Student Himani Singh, Akansha Bambiwal, Annanya, Rachit Gupta, Arohi, Mihir, Shrutika, Mansi Bisht and Neha Saini received certificate of participation in distinct categories.

    CBSE conducted a workshop for the English teachers of Himalaya Public School, Rohini to assess the speaking and listening skills of the students.
    Teachers were trained by CBSE resource person Neelam Kurushetra and Dolly Dhawan on how to effectively assess students.

    DAV Public Schooll in Loni Road initiated to carry out a workshop series for the guardians and parents where they shall meet a platform to clarify doubt if any related to CCE framework. This framework focuses on bringing out best in the child by his/her participation in co-scholastic areas.

    To discover the hidden potential in a child a self-assessment questionnaire was made to be filled out by the parents. The school intends to broaden the thinking span of the children and train them at global standards.

    The Ryan International School, Sec-25, Rohini celebrated the UN week with each day letting loose a new chapter about the entire UN, its committees, agencies, branches and their individual functions, with an effective interaction.
