Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board Recruitment of Teachers 2011

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Assistant Teacher and Primary Teacher. There was an advertisement 004/2009 for some posts including posts of Assistant teachers/ Primary Teachers MCD in by DSSSB.

The new notification has made changes in Educational Qualification, and age limit. Candidates who have applied earlier for the post need not apply again but they have to deposit revised application fee.

Teacher: 7020 vacancies

• Assistant Teacher (NCT of Delhi) (Post Code 70/09): 6500 vacancies
• Primary Teacher (MCD schools)(Post Code 71/09): 520 vacancies

Important Dates

• Opening date for receipt of applications: 16 September 2011 from 10 am to 5 pm
• Last date for receipt of applications: 17 October 2011 from 10 am to 5 pm

Eligibility Criteria (Candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions as on 15 January 2010 can also apply)

Educational Qualification for Post Code 70/09

• Senior Secondary  (10+2) or Intermediate or its equivalent from a recognized Board/institution.
• Two year’s diploma/certificate course in ETE/JBT or equivalent or B.El.Ed. from a recognized institution.
• Must have passed Hindi as a subject at Secondary Level.
• Must have passed English as a subject at Secondary or Sr. Secondary Level.

Educational Qualification for Post Code 71/09 

• Senior Secondary  (10+2) or Intermediate or its equivalent from a recognized Board/institution.
• Two year’s diploma/certificate course in ETE/JBT or equivalent or B.El.Ed. from a recognized institution.
• Must have passed Hindi as a subject at Secondary Level.

Age Limit: Maximum 30 years

Application Fee: Application fee for unreserved category and OBC candidates is Rs 100, and no fee will be charged from SC/ ST candidates.

How to Apply: Interested candidates can submit their application form with details along with 2 recent coloured photographs out of which one should be pasted on the application form and second copy of the same photograph should be attested by a gazetted officer and be attached with the application form and photocopies of relevant documents/ certificates duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. The complete application should be handed over at the Reception counters (on ground floor) in Office of the DSSSB, FC-18, Institutional Area, Karkardooma, Delhi-1100092.

The application can also be sent by Post addressed to The Secretary, Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board, FC-18, Institutional Area, Karkardooma, Delhi-1100092 along with a self addressed envelope of size 12 x 25 cm with postage of Rs 5 affixed and one Post Card bearing postal stamp of Rs 6.
